Detective Jason Grier was awarded the 2023 Hagler Community Policing Leadership Award.   Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Detective Jason Grier passed away this year at 38 years old after a short battle with cancer.  Jason was an inspiration to everyone he met and is a true example of Community Policing Leadership.  Jason's wife  D’juana Grier  received the award in his honor.
